We currently meet on Sundays at 10am in the auditorium of Eisenhower Middle School. We are a community of friends and family, so we encourage you to walk in and introduce yourself to someone.
All are welcome at The Park. We dress casual, but feel free to put on a tie if it makes you feel comfortable (although, it’s highly likely the preacher will be wearing jeans).
The Worship Service
Our church service runs for around one hour. We incorporate a mix of contemporary music, relevant teaching, story, scripture reading and prayer. We understand that everyone has a different musical taste. The important part is that the worship is authentic and excellent. Our musicians have day jobs, but they are all talented and love to lift up the name of Jesus. That’s what matters.
When we started The Park, we never intended for all our teaching to be solely exegesis (studying the Bible, going book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse). In the beginning stages of our church community, we studied the book of Mark together. We loved the it so much, we just moved on to the next series on the book of Nehemiah. We might do topical sermons (Love, Faith, Christmas) once in a while, but for the most part, when you come to the Park we will be digging into a book of the Bible.
We won’t try to wow you with our talents or productions, instead we want you to leave the service more impressed with who God is. Come to worship God and not our music. Come to learn from expositional teaching on the Word of God. Come to meet and enjoy the community of believers. When you leave, we want you to say, “Isn’t God amazing!”.
As a faith community, we celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the month. We invite all who are Christ followers to join us in communion.
